Cheating Jerk-wad

(Anonymous) 2015-07-01 12:04 am (UTC)(link)
So, my family suspects my sister's husband is cheating on her. My cousin was on FB and found a profile with his picture as the profile picture (their current apartment, they just moved into is the background). In it he was asking for people's kiks, snapchats, etc.

My idiot cousin messaged him and the FB was immediately deleted. BUT he did get a screenshot of the profile before it was deleted (showing his profile picture). We don't know how to precede from her. We think my sister MIGHT suspect because she asked if a keylogger of some sort could be placed on her laptop.

But now we don't know how to proceed. I was thinking adding the keylogger...

Kill him now, save your sister the heartache later.

Talk to your sister. Don't try to serruptitiously catch him in something.

Nah, catfsh him and invite him out to meet the superhot hottie you are claiming to be, then have your sister waiting with you. Bonus points if you get a friend who doesn't know the cheating ass to catfish his ass with you so you and your sister can catch him in the act.

Save that screenshot. Her lawyer might want to use it to get her more alimony when she leaves his ass.

AND TALK TO HER, OP. She'll be super-pissed to find out on her own that he's cheating, only to then find out that you had this piece of could-be evidence that you've been hanging onto for who knows how long before hand.

Um, cheating or no, why is your entire family this involved in your sister's love life?

If she asks you personally to add a keylogger to her laptop (her laptop, not his), then fine. Otherwise, drop the issue.

Maybe I'm just overly naive... but how does one make the leap from, "My BIL has a facebook account." to "My BIL is cheating on my sister."

Is there anything else going on that indicates he could be cheating?

He was asking for women to message him on KIK, snapchat, that other one and that he was looking for "big girls".

The Master of All Awkward Situations, the great and powerful Dear Abby, once said that after years and years of getting letters involving cheating spouses, she's determined that the one being cheated on pretty much always wants to know and should not be kept in the dark. Just the law of averages, I guess.
