They'll throw out some cliches and maybe a few tired sexist gags, there'll be some stuff that was written for the Gilmore Girls but didn't make the cut there, and eventually (depending on how bored they get) they'll hit the rest button by either having her have a miscarriage or or having some supervillain killthe kid. We'll get a revenge-breakdown story and then she'll be back to normal and the kid will never be mentioned again. Well, not be mentioned for 20 years then it'll come back as a roid raging, pouch wearing, time displaced supervillain in its own right.

You mean like Cable, except evil and with spider-powers instead of psychic-mutant-powers? I could get on board with that.
