I've had two people in two months who didn't bother to @#!&$ google something. Even after I tried to explain it they still didn't bother to look it up. As a result their customers lost out and it's possible their businesses lost money. It's ridiculous.

I also hate people who can't follow simple instructions.

1. Get a city business license. Call Jane Doe at xxx-xxxx for help with that. I can't approve your sign application until you do that.

2. Send us the permit fee of $65.

It's not rocket science. No amount of screaming over the phone or lying to your customer (who then calls me to find out what's going on) will make us skip those steps.
