Aging well

(Anonymous) 2015-07-03 01:00 am (UTC)(link)
I sort of missed the thread from a few days ago about people who aged poorly. But now it's made me curious: who do think has aged well?

Helen Mirren
Jane Seymour
Meryl Streep
Susan Lucci

Robert Downey Jr. looks way better now than when he did when he was younger. I think he grew into his face or...better haircuts or something.

I think it's mostly that he got off drugs

Mmmm. He didn't really have a "drug face" to me.

Got off drugs, saw a dentist, got better haircuts and his lips look different, too. That's probably just age-related fat-shifting though.

Chris Evans

Not that he was ugly before but...he just looked so YOUNG and baby-faced

As he's getting older though, he's slowly morphing into the hot guy I had a crush on (which is killing me)

Frankly, I think most guys look better once they get a bit older and out of their baby faced phase. This includes all the Marvel guys.

I agree. But I think this is true for women too. Just in general my type is older than me. There are very few actors or actresses I find attractive that are under thirty. Although, my type hasn't changed all that much since high school, so at least I'm now closer in age to my type.

Most celebrities really. In fact, I mostly find them hotter now than I did when they were younger.

Lawrence anon?

Somehow I didn't know Omar Sharif was still alive. I thought he was attractive in Lawrence of Arabia. I don't think I've seen anything about him lately, I'll go Google, though.
