no one calls mel brooks racist because they don't think he's racist

Another very helpful comment.

What I want to know is WHY noone thinks he racist we he clearly is, and this would be very clear to everyone if he was doing the same stuff but was anyone else.

Well, he's not 'clearly' a racist, or everyone would agree with you that he's a racist

which they don't

because they look at the things he's done and they say, okay, on balance that does not seem like the actions of a racist

it'd probably be more helpful if you could list the things that make him so obviously a racist, since (a) there are apparently so many of them that it's beyond argument and (b) you disagree with most people in the world on this one
