Personally I find that sex scenes have more of an impact if they involve characters I'm invested in. I tend to get bored with porn if it's not specifically hitting my kinks, but a scenario that would do nothing for me with Porn Star 1 and Porn Star 2 can be really hot with characters I'm into.

Even if OP isn't into the non-con aspect, the fact that it's explicit sex involving a beloved character might be pushing buttons for her that regular porn fails to.

I think it's funny that fans of this book/show think it's some big deal to be turned on by the rape scene. Pretty sure that was Diana Gabaldon's whole point, even if she wasn't consciously aware of it. The whole series is kind rapey.
