Weekend (4th of July) Plans

My mom's birthday was yesterday so we are throwing her party tomorrow! We will be having delicious hamburgers and other grilling foods. I will hopefully be able to see Jurassic World this weekend as well (if I can find a 2D showing).

I'll be babysiting my sister's dog because she lives right next to where the fireworks show is done and he is terrified of them! Other than that, nothing much because we did all our house cleaning chores on Wednesday. :D

What are your plans for this weekend?

It will probably be raining, so no grilling or fireworks. Can't decide if I want to watch a Godzilla marathon or Syfy's Twilight Zone marathon.

My brother is studying for the bar exam. This means NO FUN ALLOWED. So I'm not doing anything this year. Oh well, haha. I'm going to eat lots of blueberries though.

We just poured concrete for our new steps, our new couch is coming, and I intend to spend the weekend working on the two writing assignments I just got. Hopefully I will finish them up this weekend so I can write treats. :)

(Though, I still have no idea at all for what to write for one of them.)

Well I was going to play more Broken Age with my bf but his PC has decided to pack it in so we're having to get that looked at tomorrow instead, hopefully it's a fixable problem.

lol, it is supposed to be raining again (so much hate) so I'm probably going to watch something with Colin Firth in it, maybe play a bit of New Vegas, read Kingsman smut and look at the World of Thedas books I received recently (late birthday gift).

Oh, and I hope your sisters party is going well! Nice of you to babysit her dog. (Not that such a thing is a real hardship for you.)

Cleaning, unpacking, getting new bathroom stuff, yard work, getting renovations started... hopefully finding a couch.

My plans for tonight while everyone's out at Red, White, and Boom! is to sit on my backside in front of the computer and roleplay on tumblr, because I couldn't handle the idea of being downtown with thousands of other people without having a panic attack.

As for the rest of the weekend, I don't know. I was going to go camping with my family tomorrow night, but the cat's acting like he's horrifyingly sick, just lying around all day (for three days now actually) and peeing on himself, not even getting up to go pee somewhere else, just right where he's at. I don't want to leave him by himself while he's like this, but at the same time, I don't want to have to be the one to tell my brother his cat's probably dying, because he cried at me when I told him he was sick and I just can't do it.

Happy belated B-day to your mom! I hope the party is good.

Poor puppy. Our dog is going to drive us nuts when the fireworks start, and it is absolutely not because of fear. This is a dog that insist on being outside during storms so he can run around in the rain, and bark at thunder.

Not much different fro every other weekend, except dreading the idiots in the neighborhood setting off fireworks and potentially burning the block down.

There were lots of events going on yesterday. Everyone around here is going to the beach to watch the fireworks. I'm probably going to stay at home and try to draw before I have to start the semester again next week
