But yeah, basically, the whole insane amount of prep thing is largely made up by the fic-writing community. Obviously it's different for everyone (and some dudes just enjoy a good fingering without necessarily moving on to taking a dick), but you get stupid when you're horny, and more often than not you'll just grab whatever's lying around and get right to business. Which is fun in its own right!
