Wasn't as good as Buddy Holly.

Elvis couldn't even manage to die young. What the hell kind of a rockstar doesn't even manage that?

Elvis brought the makeup and sex though, which is more rock n' roll.

He wasn't as good but he had more crowd appeal. Even though his best songs were stolen and he wasn't as good a singer as some others of his generation, he still wins by being a phenomenon.
