Reply 1997 had a gay (well-written) character.

for movies you could check these out:

Unfortunately S-Korea is still very conservative (and according to the older generation, gays don't really exist, apparently) but times are changing.
These days it's not that hard to find at least one character who's implied to be gay in a k-drama, but they're not always a) recurring characters and b) well-written.
