I feel the same way about live music. I want the music, not the audience. I hate concerts, I hate live albums. Give me the studio version.

Man you must have experienced some really poorly mixed live albums. A lot of bands sound way better live than on the original record. A well mixed live album has very little audience sound and breathes new life into the songs.

No, a lot of bands sound terrible in the live versions. I specifically avoid live albums for this reason.

I loooove concerts and I think lives shows are really fun. HOWEVER, if I'm listening to music by myself, I'd so much rather hear the studio version because the sound tends to be better and you don't have other noises taking away from the music.
