I stopped watching him after his god awful Sailor Moon review

Was that the one where he said he hated it without watching the entire series and understanding the context of it?

There's a reason you don't review single episodes of TV shows without watching the rest of them.

Yep that's the one. Linkara told him the bit about Ura/Neptune and then he spent a good chunk talking about his dick (when by Japanese standards their outfits are extremely tame, no breasts showing, no shoulders etc)

was that a sarcasm? I didn't watch entire series of SM and I liked it. Should a reviewer watch SG-1 (or M.A.S.H, TNG, SPN) in its entirety to judge it or what. I tho-oought you were sarcastic but now I'm not sure.

DA. To be fair he not only watched very little of it but he watched the DIC dub of all things which is the horribly edited and most inaccurate version of Sailor Moon.

I could tell from watching his review that a lot of his false information was from both not watching the entire series and watching the dub.

I think I would have been fine with the review if it was titled "Review of the first season of the Sailor Moon dub" but he tried to take on Sailor Moon in it's entirety. When you review something you generally try to stick to what you see.

He didn't do enough research then. Lazy work, yeah.

Well if he is reviewing the entire first season like he said he was, yes he should watch the entire first season which is 46 episodes. Completely watchable to be honest. I just finished watching the entire first season in about a month and could have done it faster. He watched the dub though so I think there were fewer episodes to watch. I didn't expect him to watch R, S, SuperS, or Stars because those are later seasons and not the first season. Reviewing is a different ballgame then watching for fun.

I think I just don't have much patience or much of an attention span to watch something I don't like, so it's hard for me to imagine someone doing it even for their work. -_-

His Sailor Moon lacked a lot of understanding of why that series is/was important to girls.

GOD yes. That was the worst. And so creepy! *Recalls the constant comments on skirt length* Ew. Did he miss the part where they're fourteen? Because I'm sort of hoping he did.

Yeah, I'd been slowly losing interest in his reviews for a long time, but that one was the nail in the coffin imo. It was so clear that he hadn't watched the show at all, maybe hadn't even finished one fucking episode.

If you're going to write a review about something, you need to have actually consumed the bulk of the media you're reviewing. You can't write an accurate review about Sailor Moon, or NGE, or Star Trek TNG, or Dragon Age 2, or Kanye's latest album, or ANY FUCKING THING, if you can't be assed to actually read/watch/play whatever you're reviewing.
