So like a week ago I really needed to read a specific kind of fic but it turned out I'm the only one in the fandom (at the time) who had written what I wanted to read so I reread my whole fucking fic series and enjoyed every second of it and managed to be satisfied as well.

Given how people sometimes preach about writers being so shallow as to like getting the occasional comment, and that we should be "writing for ourselves alone" ... I'm completely on board with this :-D

I often reread my own fics too, since no one writes what I want to read (at least not anymore).
