Andy Blake. My favorite because the little scumsucker actually got me into a lot of really interesting research tangents that ended up really relevant to my life and interests! That's less on Blake and more on the awesome people who've blogged about him though.

Man, where do I begin. Okay, he has run multiple fandom cults around himself, swindled a lot of people out of money, pretended to be Elijah Wood's cousin, got the dude who played Sam in LOTR stranded in fucking New Zealand for a con that never happened, and has been doing this for... going on twenty years now? He has not changed at all, and is to this day whining about how people just won't let go, he's totally changed, he only did it because he was schizophrenic/multiple/BPD/etc. etc. etc.

He is also known as Amy Player, Stwriter, VoyagerBabe, Jordan Wood, Victoria Bitter... dude's been at it a while.

This is really weird, but I always thought you're in fandomwank too, so when you saw this comment, you not knowing Andy, I was super confused for a while.

I'm really bad with names, though, chances are there's somebody with somethingsomething22 as username in FW and I've been mistaking/blending the two of you together mentally.

I don't have a Journalfen account, though I did read it occasionally when Journalfen actually existed (seriously, what's going on with that).

When the above person mentioned Victoria Bitters I realized who you were talking about. I'm really, really bad with names, so I didn't recognize the Andy name, but I did recognize the Bitters name.

I kind of think it's now a lost cause. Which is pretty sad, I liked hot_daily.

Oh, that wank... the girl who was responsible for it (the center of the wank being her astral lust for a fan comic character) resorted to making LJ accounts for herself, the fan character, AND some horrible stuffed animal customs she made at the time.
