There are about four, maybe five people (that I know of!) on f!s that like this show. (Including you, me and whoever OP is.) We are few.

I think some of the dialogue is a bit awkward, but there are other bits that I find to be surprisingly deep, hilarious, or slick. It isn't a perfect show but I had a great time watching it anyway. The action was amazing too, and I genuinely liked the cast. You are not alone.

(As for the secret, I wish she hadn't been quite so over the top. Nothing wrong with liking gay porn, but don't scream it in the gay couples faces, lol.)

She was a little over the top, yeah, but she was so damn *cute* and happy and she really seemed to perk Hernado up. I hate that she kind of forced their hand but...at the same time...i'm so very glad Lido stepped up.

Yea, I do wish she had been more forthcoming with Lito and Hernando because bringing them into that whole situation with her ex unknowingly wasn't cool, but she was obviously in a bad place and I can't hate her for trying to get out of it.

I also wish she hadn't, uh...been so nosy (lol, understatement) because it was a breach of trust and privacy, but in the end even if she did some thoughtless things she wasn't all bad. And, yea, Hernando was extremely fond of her and she grew on Lito by the end of the series too. I would not at all mind her being in season two, but I do hope she's learned a few lessons and simmers down a bit.

The actress was cute though, and good in the role.

(And Lito coming for her was absolutely beautiful. Good on you, Lito. You made me proud.)

Yes, to all of this!

Lito really did grow up and become so much *better* by the end. That first scene of his (or second, i think?) where he's stuck in the traffic jam, basically having a break down, being a total hypochondriac and crying on the phone...jeez. I couldn't tell if he was really having some kind of panic issue or just having a hissy, but it was sad and hilarious at the same time.

Oh yes, that scene was magnificent. That's right after he starts feeling Sun's period and his emotions are all over the place and he doesn't understand what's happening. I laughed a lot at the "I see you villain" line. (And his "Cancer runs in my family, I think I have a tumor.")

What I found incredibly sad (and also humorous, in a dark way) was when Hernando had left him and he was getting shitfaced and calling Hernando over and over again and then he has that scene where he realizes he's lost his flip flop and is all, "I'll have to call you back". His melt down was painful but it was excellent acting. I def don't agree with people saying there's poor acting in this show, because for the most part the acting is strong as hell.

Plus the scene with Nomi in the art museum! That was gorgeous.

OH! That's right, I forgot about that. I kind of rolled my eyes at the 'women's period destroys a guy' trope, but it was still so damn good. And yes - his breakdown and then his coming to terms and going out to reclaim his friend....that was amazing. I felt so bad for him.

The museum scene was *incredible*, for both characters, and what Lito says about their first intimacy....i love that.

Yeah, people saying the acting is bad just confuse me. I think it's amazing!

I liked the show, but there were a couple of parts I hated to the point of nearly stopping watching it. Overall I liked it though. (She was one of the things that almost made me stop watching.)

She grew on me (I credit the actress, because even when she was doing some pretty dumb and terrible things I never found her entirely unlikable, just disappointing and frustrating), but there were moments where I really had to shake my head at her and wonder where her head was at.
