Re: Shipping from a Specific Moment

The mind meld actually didn't do much for me, mostly because it's not Spock, but the moment before that, McCoy almost getting himself stranded in hostile territory because he can't let even another universe's Spock die ... yeah, that didn't hurt. I actually have a list of my favourite Spock/McCoy moments somewhere. The apology/argument in 'Bread and Circuses', "You've got a good bedside manner" in 'The Empath', McCoy freaking out in defense of Spock in 'Plato's Stepchildren', pretty much all of 'All Our Yesterdays', a good chunk of 'Journey to Babel' (the teddy bear conversation is amazing), their interactions while Kirk is missing in 'Tholian Web' ... Season one is a little thin, though there are moments like the hand-hold in 'Miri' and McCoy defending Spock to Kirk in 'The Menagerie', but then in S2 and S3 the shippiness got traction behind it, and before you know it Spock is literally giving McCoy his soul in the movies.

Ah. Yes. Ahem. I ship them? I ship them lots. 'Miri' is the earliest moment for me, and I think they clicked as a forever ship in 'Immunity Syndrome', but there are absolutely no shortage of moments to point at ;)
