There was A LOT of negativity towards SGU (Stargate Universe) when it started, and BJS was (I think) fairly new to showbiz. He did not take it well at all and angrily engaged critics of his show on twitter and in interviews. To make matters worse, his mother (who had some kind of user name like Malibu Bound because fans thought she figured her son was her ticket to a life of luxury) got into it defending him and pissing a lot of people off with blog posts insulting fans of the previous Stargates. I don't want to misquote and I don't exactly remember what she said but she truly was insulting. Then he ended up defending his mom and it all went round and round and round and got out of hand. I would imagine everything has been deleted at this point. He'd probably handle things differently now as he's (hopefully) more mature.
