Re: Music with a good bass beat?

Pendulum! It's Drum & Bass and can be pretty lyrical as well so it's not too "in your face". My recs for songs of theirs include: Blood Sugar, Hold Your Colour, Streamline, The Other Side, The Tempest, and Witchcraft to begin with.

If you like those tracks I can rec more.

Gave them all a quick listen and I like these!

Woo! So, basically the best thing to do with Pendulum is first take a look at their albums (Hold Your Color, Immersion, In Silico) and find out what you like from there. Hold Your Color is very traditional DnB, In Silico kind of takes a slightly more natural/acoustic tone, and Immersion is a little bit trending to lyrical dubstep.

Knowing all of those terms should help you on your search toward finding more kinds of electronica that you like, and youtube is usually very helpful in that regard.

I hope that helps!

On listening further, The Other Side is my favorite of the ones you listed.

I'm gonna go give the albums a look! :D

Another Pendulum fan! Blood Sugar and Hold Your Colour are on every workout playlist I have.
