I think OP's point is that associating womanhood with child birth is exclusive to transwomen. Idk.

But motherhood - parenthood - is more than just pregnancy, though, right?

No reason a transwoman can't be a great mother, since there tons more to motherhood than growing a placenta and lactating, afer all.

AYRT
Yup, but the Kate Bush song the secret-maker mentioned are about periods (Strange Phenomena), childbirth (This Woman's Work) and pregnancy (Room for Life) specifically in relation to womanhood. I suppose it can come off as if you don't do/have these things you're not a real woman.

I'm not bothered by it. They're just one person's views on their womanhood written in a generalizing manner. But I can see where the OP is getting their ideas from.

She's written songs about and from the perspective of fictional characters (and fictive versions of real people). Who is to say those songs have anything do with Kate Bush's personal opinions? And why does it matter if they do?

If the OP can't separate the artist from the art and can only enjoy work that fits an approved set of values, OP is going to be very bored very soon.

Well yeah, it childbirth does exclude people born with phalluses and testicles. So what?
