Anyone play? If so, what?

I'm just starting the free trial of Final Fantasy XIV. I'm kind of addicted, three days into it, and am trying to convince myself I shouldn't shell out the money for it but I think I will. I really hate the idea of subscription fees, but bleh. (Anyone else play?)

I play WoW. And I am very happy that I can now use my gold to buy tokens to play it. Save me $15 a month!

I play Guild Wars 2, though having a bit of a break to play Path of Exile with a friend. I am kinda unhappy how expensive the upcoming expansion pack is going to be. I really can't afford it, so I might take a few year break and come back when it's cheaper.

Oh man, I really want to try out FFXIV, but I'm like 90 % sure I'll get hooked. As a semi-poor student, I know I don't really have the time nor the money for it, so I 'm trying to just stay away from it, free trial and all. But I really want to.

Yeah, I'm kind of in an identical position. No job, no income, full time student who is supposed to be writing a dissertation... starting it was probably a bad choice. :) But it is super fun so I recommend it anyway!

I played WoW on and off for 10 years. I've also played Aion, LotR, Windstar, and Star Wars: The Old Republic.

Now if I feel like playing something I mostly play Rift or Guild Wars 2, because they're free, prettier, the player character designs are delicious, they have great female lore characters, and there's slightly more variety of NPCs than in WoW.

I've been playing The Secret World since a friend bought it for me, and I might get back into WoW since they added the tokens, depends on whether or not it's possible to make that much gold on the starter edition at level 20. Haven't played on an official server since Burning Crusade came out, be interesting to see how it's changed when it's not buggy as hell. Every once in a while I dive back into Star Trek Online, but aside from being Star Trek and letting me play as a Romulan, it doesn't really interest me that much.

I play XIV! I'm on Balmung and Jenova. I was actually just about to hop back on since the downtime is a tight squeeze for my usual schedule.

My method of handling the fee had me paying a month out of pocket in the beginning, since I was waiting for Amazon to process my traded games. Now I earn enough on Swagbucks to just get the two month digital cards for "free."

With that said, it was pretty tough to give the game any real time during my last year of school. You might be better at time management than I am, but I started playing during 2.3, so any free time I did have was during the hotfix era we're having right now. :c I know people who started playing when I did and finished a month in. I wasn't current until the second part of 2.5 launched.

I play Star Wars: The Old Republic, and I'm pretty sure I'll be playing it 'til it sunsets. I can't explain why I like it, I just do. So looking forward to the next expansion, it's sounding very promising IMHO. Can't wait to hear further deets from SDCC this weekend.

(I'm on Jedi Covenant, btw, the guy in my icon is one of my characters. Have some toons on Ebon Hawk, but I'm debating whether or not to transfer back there before the 90CC offer expires, if it hasn't already)

I play WoW and have been playing it for many, many years now, it's a sub game but I don't mind since it's the only one I've got and none of the other MMO's have piqued my interest really.

I've also got GW2 as well which is a one-off payment but otherwise no sub which I like.

I play WoW mostly, but I've been super disappointed with it's direction here at the end of this expac, so once I finish HFC, I'ma unsub and see what the next Blizzcon will announce.

Wildstar I play off and on and I'm SORTA back into playing SWTOR. Kinda.

I'm seriously looking at that free trial for FFXIV, it sounds like it's really good.

It really is. I started playing about a year ago because all of my friends were playing and I have been continually impressed by how fun the gameplay is and just how good the story is. Without giving any specific spoilers, something happened in the most recent expansion that had pretty much all of us flat-out sobbing on Skype for a a good ten minutes or so - I was NOT expecting that sort of emotional depth from an MMO.

I've played WoW, SW:TOR, and GW2. Currently, I'm playing GW2, because there just hasn't been much to do in WoW, and between SW:TOR and GW2, well, GW2 is free, which is good since I'm broke right now. I'm on Tarnished Coast; if anyone else is and wants to make friends, sure! :)

Wildstar and Ark Survival Evolved are mine

Wildstar is going free to play soon and Ark is free to play BUT it is still early access alpha. So quite buggy but I'm majorly enjoying it nonetheless. Breeding pets will be implemented in the summer so my dinosaur ranch dream will come true
