There are a lot of het pairings that are juggernaut pairings, and some fandoms have a femslash pairing as their biggest ship.

Even if a femslash ship is the biggest in a fandom, I don't think any of them could properly be called a juggernaut. They're just not that big by comparison to slash (no matter how much I might prefer them).

But in a fandom they certainly can be. For instance Rizzoli/Isles takes up all the oxygen in that fandom. If you don't ship them, you will come up against the same kind of problems as any other juggernaut pairing - you can't find fic or art; you might get sick of hearing about it; etc. A juggernaut only needs to be big in its own fandom.

They are juggernaut pairings within their own fandoms. idk Orange is the New Black, My Little Pony, and others come to mind where het or slash pairings stand no chance in the case of femslash.

And het is definitely juggernaut material, what fandoms have you been in? Slash predominates in certain types of fandoms, but if they don't have those intense male interactions, the fandom is gonna go het.
