Because it's not okay to be that cavalier with any other sexual or romantic identity, and it feels weird that it's okay with this one? (ex. Everyone is gay because Avengers, or Everyone has a foot fetish because avengers or everyone is asexual because Avengers would lead to a flamewar.)

Hadn't thought of that, but I don't like the phrasing of the tag either and I think I agree with you.
