I'm glad Clara's still around. Which is daft, as I basically stopped watching the show when the Ponds were written out, and have watched, like one-and-a-half episodes since. But it's nice to see him with a stable sidekick.

Yasss I'm here for Capaldi - bless his newly curled hair - and Michelle Gomez. Considering I've had fantasies about both (as Tucker and Sue, respectively) this pleases me. A lot.
Since doctor/master is now officially IN-YOUR-FACE canon I hope we get a lesbian doctor after Capaldi's run.

And unpopular opinion but S8 Clara > the Ponds
I skipped most of S7 so I can't really say much about Clara's character from that time

Moffat can go to hell. His writing is stale and he tries too hard.

It seems like stylistically it's still going to be in line with most of s8. Which means, unfortunately, that I'm probably still out.
