Fandom Feedback

(Anonymous) 2015-07-09 11:38 pm (UTC)(link)
Anecdotally I've noticed that some of my fandoms have much higher kudo/comment to hit ratios than other fandoms. What fandoms do you think give more kudos/comments (proportionally) and which do you think give less?

I have noticed this as well

I really want AO3 to give us better access to their data so we could work this out. It shouldn't be that hard to determine the average kudos for given ships or fandoms. And yet statistical analysis of fandom remains in the Stone Ages. Tragic

I've seen this too and also for pairings. My previous AO3 fics got kudos but no actual reviews. My newest fic, for a different pairing, has gotten a lot more kudos and several reviews. I do think the writing is a bit better, but not that much better, so I think it is largely due to the pairing.
