I didn't know that. Do you personally know someone who's allergic to scents?

Several people personally, far more professionally. One of my best friends is allergic to lilac, another has COPD that is triggered by one of the components common to perfume (she doesn't know what it is).

So when I know I'm going to work or I'm going to someplace like a classroom where there are a lot of people in a poorly ventilated space, I try not to wear fragrances.

That sucks because so many things are scented, like shampoos and washing powder. I hope people are feeling better with the new regulations for perfume products ingredients.

I don't wear fragrances often, still I make extra sure not to do it when I go to a hospital.

Hospitals, airports (if boarding a plane), classrooms, small office buildings...

Those are environments where people work and don't have the option of just moving away from a disturbing fragrance, so they're all good places to avoid wearing perfume.

Lavender is the world's most popular smell? I thought it was chocolate, honey, almonds, bacon or maybe weed.

Flower scents are the most popular by far. Bacon, wtf? Maybe in chips...
