LOL no, I'm not trolling! :D

Seriously, there are a fuckton of short actors who have had really great careers -- Dustin Hoffman is 5.5", Al Pacino is 5'6", Tom Cruise is 5'7.5", Matthew Broderick is 5'7.5", Daniel Radcliffe is 5'5", etc. I'm not sure what the relevance of how much they're paid has to do with their size, but running that Google search tells me it's Robert Downey, Jr., who is 5'8", which is shorter than the average US male (5'9.5"). There's certainly no minimum height requirement of actors (models, yes, but we're not talking about them).

Thank you for elaborating! I should check this site out when I'm on my laptop (versus on the phone). 5'9 is the average? I'm 7" shorter, how can this be. :[
