I think I know better than to expect them to not be shitty, but then idk. When I'm having emotions sometimes I trick myself into believing they'll be less shitty for five minutes if I want it hard enough.
She was so nice to me when I was a kid. Like making me quilts and giving me biscuits and going to my school fetes. It's just fucking confusing and it hurts.

I hear a menopause symptom is memory loss, and i know when my great aunt lost some of the memories between my being a kid amd now, she went back to being really mean and hurtful like when my mom was a kid.
Nonetheless, I'm sorry your gramma's being mean and angry. It hurts when people change like that.
