Implying that you're better than someone else because you've got a nicer job is despicable, and that reporter deserved what she got. You think you're better than people who have worse jobs than you do? You're garbage, and you deserve to be called out on it.

She was inplying that Pepper was under Tony's thumb, I think, and not that taking care of the laundry is a bad job. Tbh I don't have a strong opinion on this. Need to rewatch this moment.

Yeah, you need to rewatch this scene. She was clearly commenting on Pepper's job in general, that it's nothing more than doing menial tasks that aren't as worth as much as being a reporter. Basically, she's being elitist and dissing anyone who works in a service-type job.
