Re: Rant thread
The CPU is the Central processing unit, where all the calculations needed to run all programs are done. It is, practically, the brain of a computer. RAM is temporary memory storage, graphics cards do high-end graphics processing (needed for running games) and a motherboard is what everything is plugged into and communicates through (things like the power box, hard drives, disk drives and anything else are also plugged into it).
