Oooh! OOH! I know!

The car chase from Castle of Cagliostro is both an awesome action scene and a beatiful piece of animation. Go Miyazaki go!
(On that note, the first episode of Lupin the Third: The Woman Called Fujiko Mine is also really nice. AND don't get me started on the 2015 special! You can see the trailer here:

I'm not much of a Assasin's Creed fan anymore, but the end shot of Brotherhood trailer is one of my top "we're about to fuck shit up" shots.

There have been attempts to revive the series.

Personally I liked the 13-episode Fujiko series and the Jigen special (2 eps iirc?)

There have been crossovers, movies and some other specials but I didn't like them, unfortunately.

I *think* there's a new series in production.

I might do some research and see if I can find the ones you mention liking, but its been so long since I saw the first series that it would probably just be better to rewatch that.

A new series, like a continuation? At this point they could probably reboot it, but that might be worse.

The Fujiko series is a prequel to the old series (how Lupin and Fujiko met, basically), so even newbies can get in the action

And the Jigen thing happens after the Fujiko series

dunno about the new series, might try finding out more tomorrow but rn I'm going to sleep
