Battle of Helm's Deep, The Two Towers. No battle sequence or action sequence in either the LOTR or the Hobbit films have been its equal.

I think I agree with you on that. (Though I do like Gandalf vs the Balrog, that wasn't on the same scale.)

You're right, it was a magnificent one. Especially that visual of Gandalf and the Balrog tumbling deep into that enormous cavern like a falling star.

Yes! That was one of the best visuals in the entire trilogy. Stunning and exciting.

Helm's Deep is the complete package, but I have to give points to the Ride of the Rohirrim at Pelennor Fields. The sight of that massed cavalry charge is still amazingly stirring.

I adore that scene! Chills, every time. But it's awkward for Aragorn, because Theoden's troop rallying speech blows poor Aragorn's out of the water.

Yessss. I still remember watching that the first time and just, the tension before the fight man, it was intense. I still love it on re-watches.
