Yes, because the comments make me wonder how deeply engrained that element is in the basic appeal of the show.

I'm not trying to be snarky here, but it seems to me that this is a pretty good outcome for the situation. People rightfully complained, the producer stepped down, and the show's making efforts to rectify the lack of diversity in the show. Nobody has to be satisfied with that, of course, but what's the point of trying to get shows to see the errors of their ways if we're not willing to give them a chance once they do?
