If everyone is disagreeing with you, rather than sighing and claiming everyone isn't reading your secret correctly or doesn't truly understand your vapid meaning, try taking the critique and discussion on board.

Also your degree means nothing. Any old idiot can get an English degree, it's not hard. As illustrated by your constant referencing of it instead of actually addressing anyone's comments.

Some people keep their eye on the prize, even long after they've attained it.

Sometimes it's the only thing of worth in their lives.

I tend to pat those kinds of people on the head and move on, leaving them to their wank.
