I re-read the manga a while ago and was like "yooooooo what the fuck". I still ship Tatsuha/Ryuiichi with the passion of a thousand burning suns, even if Maki Murakami kinda ruined the ship for me with her "Remixes".

Aw, how were they ruined by the remixes? I couldn't bring myself to read them but that bums me out

Aha well, there are two remixes dedicated to Tatsuha/Ryuiichi, Remix 2 and Remix 6. In Remix 2, we pretty much get Tatsuha starting a physical relationship with Ryuuichi while acting like a sex predator while Ryuuichi acted like he was mentally five. It was just... weird.

Remix six has them on a stablished relationship and Tatsuha complaining that they haven't had sex since the first and only time. Tatsuha daydreams about having sex with Ryuiichi, things getting rough and pretty much almost violating him. Then he snaps out of it, goes "WTF?" and daydreams again of sex with Ryuuichi, but this time he apologizes for being rough and then Ryuuich's like "yay! now we can win the game!" (what is this 4chan memes of the past?) and then Tatsuha drooling from his daydreaming. Tatsuha is now horny and wanting to bang Ryuuichi, and then Ryuuichi mentions that he was pretty rough last time they did it, to which Tatsuha goes "Last time??????" and it turns out that apparently that the first daydream wasn't a daydream. Or something. And it ends with Ryuuichi going into his split personality and implied violation from Ryuuichi's side.

Meanwhile, I'm sitting there, pondering about my life and choices and wondering where did I went wrong in life because jfc this is not how I wanted my OTP to be canon. Thank goodness the Remixes aren't canon and instead we got the abberated sequel to Gravitation, but nobody cares enough to talk about it.

Also I should probably mention that the Remixes are hilariously weird, and feature Tohma/Yuki/Tatsuha threesome, Yuki getting possesed by Yuki Kitazawa and banging Shuiichi and other stuff I can't even remember but those are the most bizarre.
