9. I used to be that guy(girl). My friends are all very into J-pop, and I...I just can't get into it. Give me wacky Irish reels and drinking songs any day. But I stopped trying to pretend. Now I just make sure that if I can't be interested for the sake of the band or music, that I'm at least interested because it's something that my friends enjoy, and because they repay the favour by tolerating my Doctor Who and Great Big Sea rants. Fortunately, we do still have a lot in common. Oddly enough, it's none of the stuff that we had in common before. I'm almost glad for that, because it means that we've grown as people and still remained friends.
27. It's furry. Get over it. Furry =/= weird fetishes, porn, and people who think that inside they are secretly a winged wolf or something. Fury = anthropomorphic animals.

28. I agree. And to add to my hypocrisy, the larger portion of my fics on ff.n tend to be epic-unfinished type. But I prefer small fics that paint a good picture, and I'm trying to do that more often.
43. <3 Actually, I think Owen is my favorite character in the show, because in a way, he's the more genuine. I like Ianto and I like Jack, but they're not what they seemed to be, and I feel let down by them. Owen steps on the scene and basically goes "Hello, I'm the token dickweed of the show!" and he was exactly that. He's a huge, horny, self-absorbed jerk, but darn it, he never seemed like anything else. I kind of like that. And when he does have more human moments (like that pilot), you just feel for him because, well, they don't make him a worse person, they just show that he's not as cold as he acts. Also, I think he's interesting looking, I love the name Owen (thanks, Gargoyles), and Burn is a pretty sweet given name.
