3? I don't think so. Not exclusively, surely.

I'm sure if it was not illegal then appropriate safety standards could be put in place, like with the bajillion other chemicals that are synthesised.

na

lol, do you know what meth is made out of? there's no way to make that shit remotely safe without making it into something so different that it wouldn't have any relation to meth anyway

NA (and an actual chemist)

Lots of chemical reactions are dangerous. But in OSHA-approved laboratories, there is both safe/appropriate equipment for carrying out the synthesis, and safe/appropriate equipment for protecting the chemists.

Yeah no that's not how meth works

Do you know what happens to a house where meth is made? It gets condemned when the meth makers get busted. Why? Because the chemical reactions get into every nook and cranny of that house and make even being in it toxic. It becomes an environmental hazard and has to be destroyed as a result.

Ever hear of a meth house blowing up? It's because of the chemicals used and the reactions they cause being created by people with no actual scientific background, in other words, people who have no damn clue what they're doing. That puts not only the ones making it in danger, but their neighbors as well.

Yes, people have died as a result of meth, either using it(and it's not a pretty death either, nor are the withdrawal drugs any easier on a person) or making it. That makes it dangerous.
