alcohol damages people on a larger scale, but meth will fuck your health up way more and way more quickly than alcohol will (most of my family is kind of white trash, so I've seen more than my share of people afflicted with meth addiction. it is a nasty, nasty thing). you're also a lot more likely to use alcohol responsibly than you are to use meth responsibly (there aren't exactly a whole lot of "casual" meth users out there)
