I didn't like him at first, but he is better in some supports than others. He isn't perverted or chauvinistic towards Olivia at all, and is quite respectful of her boundaries.

Plus I like the narrative of Virion!Inigo best. Noble!Inigo might explain why he can come off as such a jerk sometimes to his friends, something I thin Crom!Inigo wouldn't have gotten, due to how down-to-Earth the Ylisse royal family is compared to Virion.

Virion's a big ball of issues, and he's a flirt, but he rarely seems serious with it? I think it's a big way to hide his insecurities. Like, "Hey, if I flirt a lot, I seem confident, right?"

Then he'd be even more the perfect father for Inigo. :)

His flirting is presented humorously, as part of his insecurities especially since he lost all his lands and he's trying to hide how much that means to him.

If someone missed the humorous tone of it, he might come off as a jerk, but you'd have to be almost wilfully blind, or perhaps be reading the dialogue in not your first language.

I had him as Severa's father but I can see how he'd work for Inigo.
