so she can't truly bait anyone if she doesn't actually have the power to make the bait come to fruition
I disagree. Baiting rarely come to fruition. The baiting part is pushing a story or pushing the marketing (<This bit) to make people think that a show is more gay-friendly than it really is. Actress is responsible for marketing, and her saying "Sure, why not bisexuals" is pushing for viewers to watch a show because "It must be pretty gay friendly if the actress thinks it is" I'd have been fine with "Who cares" or "Who knows" as an answer, Maybe even "That's how I read it" or "That's not how I read it". He'll I'd even have been fine with an "Why not" if it hadn't been lumped in with the implication that bisexuality is inherent in all modern thinking women because bisexuals are awesome! Watch our show please, bisexuals! We think you're trendsetting rock stars from the future!
