He's my favorite, but I definitely think he's a try-hard in that area... I skip most of his solos where he's shirtless or gyrating because it gives me waaaay too much second-hand embarrassment. But I think the status you refer to also just stems from HYD and all the loads of ~sexy~ photoshoots MJ has done (the an-an sex issue one and the low-key bondage one come to mind lol). Whether or not he's actually sexy is subjective obviously, but Aiba just doesn't have the same image/reputation as MJ.

I don't think any of the Arashi boys are sexy. They're adorable dorks. And like anon said, the sex symbol came from stuff like Tokyo Tower and HanaDan, and now he's basically 'the sexy one' in Arashi, in charge of the romantic doramas, like Captain Kimura is in SMAP.

My favorite in J&A, Kamenashi Kazuya, is a try hard in the sexy department too. He makes me flustered in a weird way when he's trying to be hot, like I just want to grab tour bathrobes to cover him up.

IA, I have a hard time seeing any of them as sexy. Maybe it's because most of my exposure to them is through their game shows and such... those are all about the cute dorkiness. You need to cultivate a little mystery to be sexy, and Arashi is too exposed. They're constantly on TV.

I skip all Jun's solos except Yabaix3 for obvious reasons, but generally, none of the J&A boys are sexy to me. Except Tsubasa because he can get it from me any day.
