This is my cat Mew Mew. My baby, she's super constipated and had to go for an enema today, but she's so...plugged up, she may need to go under and get it manually removed. (also they would require another enema, blood work, fluid, medication, hospital stay). She's an older cat and just eats wet food, but I guess she doesn't drink as much water as she should. :( I love my baby. Please help, thank you. <3

Poor pretty baby! WRT getting her to drink enough water--have you had any luck with a fountain like the Drinkwell? Sometimes cats will drink moving water when they don't care for the still water in their water bowl. (My William is pretty good about drinking from his dish, but he especially loves to drink from a faucet, and I often leave just a trickle of water going while I'm busy in the bathroom, because he enjoys jumping up on the counter and sticking his head under the tap. Of course, this isn't necessarily a habit one wants to encourage, but for an elderly cat, anything that gets them hydrated is good!)

My kitty is at the vet's right now, getting all kinds of tests to figure out why she keeps getting skinnier. :( So I'm all kinds of a softie for kitties in need right now! (I just went and made a donation.)
