My Tinder pet peeves
(Anonymous) 2015-07-15 11:41 pm (UTC)(link)-First picture is with multiple same-gender people, and it isn't clear which one they are.
-First (or any) picture is them with another person who is the gender that they are attracted to (possible boyfriend or girlfriend)
-Any threesome requests... when you're a lesbian looking for girls this is everywhere. At least on Tinder people are often up front about it right away, I guess.
-Empty profiles
-Profiles with just one poem or song lyric or something else that makes you seem ~mysterious~ and shows your ~attitude~ ...I find it both a bit dumb and a bit intimidating.
-When people use really, really old photos that don't even reflect how they look today. Yeah, you may have looked fabulous at your senior prom, but when that was nine years ago, you're not really fooling anyone.
-This is maybe a really particular pet peeve, but as a lesbian, when other (presumably gay/bi) women label themselves "Feminist". Like, for one, I assume we're all feminists, and for another, I worry that if you identify yourself as such in the first line of your dating profile, you're possible a crazy SJW.
