Agree on Elrond. He was the first one I thought of.

With regards to bad dads, I would actually vote for Finwe. Like, what the fuck was he doing? If he had been a better father, I think he could've dealt with Feanor's insecurities and the sibling rivalry. But Finwe's inaction and favoritism seems to be a big part of the reasons that the tension in his household was allowed to fester. I think he's really at the root of most Feanorian issues.

Oh, absolutely. Sure, marry again, but make sure your first son understands why. I feel like he kind of set up the competition between feanor and the other two by not being a better father. He just kind of let Feanor do his own thing.
