As far as I know, no one on Twitter actually has the power to demand Cosby's head on a silver platter. Unless there have been some dramatic changes to the American legal system while I wasn't paying attention.

It is, therefore, fucking stupid to talk about thing in those terms.

Further, I appreciate that she is a woman of strong convictions; that is an admirable characteristic. I also think that she is a rape apologist, and I think it is wrong to be a rape apologist. No matter how noble her motives, I'm still probably going to think that.

She absolutely is a rape apologist. Remember her 'it's not rape rape' comment during the whole Polanksi mess?

Which is so fucking ridiculous! Like, I think she was under the impression that Polanski and the victim were actually in loooove and it was "only" statutory rape (which would've been disgusting enough, the girl was THIRTEEN YEARS OLD, not 17, and he was 43. GROOSSSSSSS. But aside from that it WAS "RAPE rape." He prevented her from leaving, he gave her drugs and alcohol, she said no and fought back and he still raped her (including anally, for God's sake--this CHILD), he threatened her afterward. But don't let the facts get in the way of good ol' Whoopi offering her dumbass opinions on famous rape cases.
