Well, no, that's bullshit. Bill Cosby is a famous, influential, and wealthy man who is more than capable of presenting his case in public. He has, in fact, tried to do so several times. The problem is that his side of the story is incredibly unconvincing and no one fucking believes him.

Bill Cosby is a famous, influential, and wealthy man who is more than capable of presenting his case in public

More that capable? Yes! Advisable for him to do so? Oh my word no. No, in the court of public opinion, the best thing you can do is say "No comment" and leave it at that. even saying "I didn't do it" would get you a guilty verdict in TCoPO

Also,

He has, in fact, tried to do so several times

This right here is the PERFECT explanation of why TCoPO is a bad system to rely on. Because this is the first time I have ever heard of him trying to mount any defence on the matter. I have however heard it said "He didn't respond to accusations" "OMG that means he's totally guilty"

If you're trying to convince me he's guilty, save your keypresses, I already am. I am trying to highlight why people should not rely on TCoPO to render verdict.
