I mean, this isn't exactly crack, considering the deleted scene/stage show.

They basically went that way in the musical version. If you haven't heard the soundtrack, there's an extra song with Scar being creepy toward Nala, it'd be right up your alley.

I kind of found the Scar trying to molest Nala scene in the musical to be unnecessary. It just felt like forcing the strong female character to be a victim. Nala didn't need that excuse to leave the Pride and try to make things better. Besides, I always thought Scar/Sarabi was more interesting, because he wants what Mufasa had.
