Actually, he's dragging his finger across his bloody forehead to write his name on the guy's back in his own blood. LATER slathers his hands with the other person's blood, licks it off, rubs it on his arms and in his hair, and sticks his bloody hand up his shorts to get some on his junk. Then he kisses him. It's...not very subtextual.

Anyway, I get bloodkink, but it usually doesn't get me excited. It has to be the right amount of blood and the person has to be bleeding the "right way." Roman Reigns usually bleeds pretty good, for example.

(Anonymous) 2015-07-18 12:36 am (UTC)(link)There's a whole completely demented sequence after this where Kevin rips open Generico's mask above the eye JUST enough so he can get bleeding, and Kevin goes bonkers. He points it out to the audience in glee, licks it off his hands, rubs his bloody hands all over his body, and then hauls Generico to his feet and kisses him.
You know, for me it's not so much the blood per se that makes the scene hot, it's both the power play and the fact that clearly Kevin (the character) is having a really hard time distinguishing between hate and love, violence and lust. The blood is like an intimate link between hem, the only way that Kevin can "have" and control him now. I...may have thought way too much about a five-year-old match, lol.

(Anonymous) 2015-07-18 04:24 am (UTC)(link)It was really gross, I'm not disagreeing with the above comment, lol. It was also really hot in that way that Kevin has, you knowwwww what I mean. I have watched that kiss way too many times now--it's fast so I wasn't sure at first, but the audience with a better view freaks out, and looking closer, yeah.
The extra-bizarre thing is knowing that was all carefully planned and choreographed! Like, the kiss happens EXACTLY halfway through he match, and is what galvanizes Generico. The whole tide of the fight turns in that one hinge moment, which means it was completely deliberate and cold blooded and GEEZ GUYS, WTF.
