Well, I hate the antis so that metaphor is moot.

Well, no, that would make the analogy apropos, assuming that AYRT means to compare GG to the Nazis.

I'm not saying that it's correct, or appropriate, but it does hold up internally, from an historical point of view.

Their specific statement was that you're like Spain in World War 2, which was a fascist state and sympathetic to the Nazis although officially neutral

So, yes, it's Nazis versus Commies, but the specific analogy was that you're on the side of and sympathetic to the Nazis even if you're officially neutral

Again, I don't think it's fair. But it's a very well-constructed analogy.
