Re: Graphics Question
Honestly, a lot of it will probably have to be trial and error. Your best bet would be to create a banner and then get some feedback from people on how to improve it because there's no real hard and fast rule to designing something nice and it's easier to tell what works and what doesn't once you've made something and you can examine it. There could be multiple ways to make a successful banner. If you can, make a mood board of graphics that you like, and pick apart why you think they work well. Try to apply their successful elements in your own graphic.
