Heh. I was going to say this. If it is a Stony fic, most of the time it will be Tony Whump.


Even that one fic where in the summary is says Steve gets hurt in a battle but it ends up being Steve having to care for Tony who is feeling bad about Steve getting hurt. ಠ_ಠ

Most of the MCU Stony fics written after Avengers but before WS had some amount of it, unless they are comedic.

It's totally non-canon now, but Arc Tremors by MountainRose on AO3 is some serious Tony!Whump. Tony's heart starts seriously failing after the Avengers climax, and the team gets all protective. Tony's put through the wringer, but he's still gloriously snarky and grumpy the whole way through.

Also he makes a new robot for Clint. Her name is Abigail. She is precious.
